Steve Lally has worked as a storyteller and visual artist for over fifteen years. He writes his own fresh material as well as re-imagining folk tales, myths, legends, recitations and story songs, leading participatory storytelling and arts workshops. Lally’s repertoire of tales ranges from ancient Celtic epics of Ireland and beyond, stories of adventure and romance. As an award-winning storyteller and author, Kate Dudding enjoys telling many kinds of stories to all ages. A particular interest of hers is bringing history to life — giving a voice to people from the past. She has told stories at many venues in the Northeastern USA, including The New-York Historical Society (New York City, NY), The Clearwater Festival (Croton-on-Hudson, NY), First Night Saratoga (Saratoga Springs, NY), and The Norman Rockwell Museum (Stockbridge, MA). Her first CD, “Lighting the Way Home: Stories of Lighthouses and Their Keepers,” is a Parents’ Choice Approved Award Winner of 2007, one of six storytelling CDs to get an award this year. A story on her second CD, “People Who Made a Difference: Volume 1,” won a 2010 Storytelling World Honor Award.
Kim has mastered the craft of blending humor and heartache, seriousness and silliness…all linked together by music. One reviewer stated, “Hard to explain but oh, so easy to enjoy.” She currently has 8 award winning audio collections, the latest one, A Wandering Mind, a much anticipated collection of personal stories and songs that has received rave reviews and airplay on NPR affiliates and Sirius XM. Kim has made numerous television appearances, hosted a successful morning show and has authored numerous articles for periodicals and magazines.
