Robin Bady

Award-winning storyteller Robin Bady performs and teaches throughout the United States, Germany, Ireland and China in theaters, cafes, schools, museums, festivals and online. She loves all stories, particularly true ghost stories told by the person who experienced the “presence”.  She frequently partners with instrument builder Skip LaPlante and violinist Concetta Abbate – their latest project is “The Rootabaga Stories” by Carl Sandburg. She is the host of the celebrated monthly storytelling series, BADYHouse Storytelling Concerts, which takes place in her home.

Ilan Glazer

Rabbi Ilan is honored to be Rabbi of Beth Sholom Synagogue. Rabbi Ilan grew up in Conservative synagogues and schools, USY youth groups, and Camp Ramah. He has worked with many Jewish environmental and social justice organizations and has led Jewish trips in the U.S., Costa Rica, and Israel. Rabbi Ilan has brought his unique blend of Torah, humor, music, and insights from the storytelling, personal growth and public speaking disciplines to synagogues, schools, JCC’s, retreat centers, and army bases throughout the Jewish world. Prior to coming to Beth Sholom, Rabbi Ilan was the spiritual leader of Temple Beth El of North Bergen, NJ.

Priscilla Howe

Storyteller Priscilla Howe, a native New Englander, comes to us from Lawrence, KS, where she lives with her cat, Francis Bacon. A former children’s librarian, Priscilla has been a full-time storyteller and puppeteer since 1993. She travels around the country and abroad, telling stories in schools, libraries, conferences, festivals and special events. She’s always searching for new stories to tell, as well as for the best restaurant pie on earth.

Liz Weir

Liz Weir is a storyteller and writer from Northern Ireland. She was the first winner of the International Story Bridge Award from the National Storytelling Network, USA, which cited her “exemplary work promoting the art of storytelling”. Liz Weir has told her stories to people of all ages on five continents. She has performed in pubs and prisons and hospital rooms. She worked on stages in the mighty Vanderbilt Hall of New York’s Grand Central Station and in the Royal Albert Hall.

Clare Murphy

Since 2006 Clare has told stories around the world. Raconteur, performer and creative she has told stories on all kinds of stages including The Globe, The National, The Barbican and the Soho Theatres in London and many marvellous stages and theatres worldwide. Clare also performs at festivals, art centres, universities, public and private events, conferences and schools. Clare is also a writer, a consultant, and a teacher of storytelling. She has collaborated with many wonderful institutions including The Royal Shakespeare Company, Central Saint Martins University, National Museums of Ireland, and the Conference on World Affairs, Boulder, Colorado. Clare creates bespoke solo performances, cabaret (ala carte) storytelling events, and commissioned pieces. Clare also offers training for corporations and charities who look to improve their storytelling and communication skills. She is available as a keynote speaker, guest lecturer and story advisor.
